American Educational 6 Piece Nickel Cork Borer Set Review

I went with the cheap cork borers that still looked solid, but the ones that came were different from the pictured item. Instead of metal handles, they had plastic ones. The handles do seem well-attached and solid. I had to take some sandpaper to the borer I was using, because it had no edge to speak of. So if you're looking for some that are already sharpened, these aren't them. Not sure how long they'll hold an edge, but after sharpening it roughly with sandpaper and with a good deal of work, I was able to put a whole through 3/4" of rubber. Not the cleanest hole ever made, but it'll do for my purposes. If I had a better sharpening device, probably would have improved the end result.
