The clear acrylic TrippNT 50991 Universal iPad stand has two display angle options to provide ergonomic, hands-free display of Apple iPads or other compatible tablets, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1", Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9", Google Nexus 10", and Microsoft Surface tablets. The iPad stand is made of clear acrylic, which is lightweight, and resists shattering, impact, and most non-abrasive cleaners. The A-frame style stand has ledges at the upper and lower edges of its face. The lower ledges provide a stable base for resting the tablet, while the upper ledges prop the tablet to an ergonomic viewing angle. The stand can sit upright on its feet and hold tablets at a 68-degree angle, or it can rest on its backside to provide a 58-degree viewing angle. Both display options accommodate portrait or landscape tablet orientation. The universal stand can also be used with tablets in cases or covers. Cutout holes between the stand's feet and at the top of the A-frame body allow power cords to thread through for charging tablets while on display, and round speaker slots in the center of the stand permit sound to pass for music and video applications. The iPad stand measures 7 x 8 x 8 inches (W x H x D). Due to its sturdy build and pretty acrylic material, the TrippNT Crystal Clear Acrylic stand is the perfect solution for holding the ipad. It has a 7 inch width and 8 inch height and can be used in either the 58 degree or 68 degree viewing angle. The ipad can be used in either portrait or landscape position, and there are holes which allow cables and sound to pass through. This is the sturdiest ipad stand I have found and is attractive as well. The stand does not fold, which probably contributes to its sturdiness, but you can leave your ipad sitting on it and not worry about it's tipping over.
