The skull arrived speedily in heavy-duty packaging, and nothing was broken or missing. The mandible--at least for my skull--arrived detached and NOT glued on. This piece isn't without its flaws though, such as paper-thin cheek-bones, bluntly carved interior eye sockets, and a few teeth made out of a single undivided piece of resin. Having said that, I was truly shocked by its striking resemblance to a genuine human skull. Apply a little mud and wipe with a dry cloth and your friends will swear you just dug it up from the graveyard (though thankfully, you didn't have to!) And for the reviewer who stated that this skull would shatter if dropped, I would agree, but I'm not planning on playing dodge ball with it anyhow.
