Red Fox Skull - The red fox is native to North America, Europe and most of Asia and has been introduced to Australia and Africa. Although a member of the order Carnivora, the red fox is essentially an omnivore. It mostly eats rodents, lagomorphs, insects, fruit and occasionally carrion. Red foxes have a characteristic manner of hunting mice. The fox stands motionless, listening and watching intently for a mouse it has detected. It then leaps high and brings the forelimbs straight down forcibly to pin the mouse to the ground.

I ordered this a while back and lo and behold I find out that what I THOUGHT was perhaps just a juvenile fox was really a grey fox skull. An entirely different species. I am extremely dissatisfied that such a mistake could be made, even the label that came with it describes it as a red fox. However, the skull is of a high quality and great for educational and
display purposed.

Despite my initial issue with the wrong product being sent, the customer service was phenomenal and the issue was resolved as the correct skull was sent to me instead.
