We were really excited to give this present to our 3 year old son but unfortunately the plastic seems thinner than normal duplo legos and does not stay connected to other pieces very well. Either the pieces are not completely level or the thinness of the plastic affects the structural integrity of the playhouse. Not sure I would recommend this to others.

The Science Source Single Bottle-Rocket Launcher Review

Good things
-Holds up well to light and moderate use
-Seals well to 2 liter bottles (I have yet to try other sizes)
-Stakes remain in ground for several launches if placed properly
-Thorough instructions
-Only requires a pump, water and soda bottle in order to use
-No safety automatic safety release (this could also be a drawback, but for my purposes I liked it)

Things I did not like
-Difficult to stake (requires considerable effort or technique)
-Sharp edges require adult supervision when handling
-Friction fit plastic tool attached to release string. Becomes dirty easily and secures only loosely

If one can get this into the ground straight, it works well repeatedly. If one doesn't have experience with launchers like this, it can be hard to set up, but I like the design and exploratory value of this launcher. I have only owned mine a few months, but it shows little evidence of deterioration. I will update this review if anything goes wrong in the near future, but I don't expect to need to.

First, the bag. It is a higher quality than others I've seen and there is enough room. You don't have to have a degree in packaging to put things back. (It could use a side pocket to hold "lung" etc.)

The manikins are easier to set up and clean than most.
AED pads can be used with no concern.
Chest rise is far more visible and realistic.
The head *must* be tilted to allow air flow. Some claim this but it does not work out that way.
I think the lights are far better than a metronome for getting the feel of what is needed.
Finally, the feel you get when doing compressions is far closer to reality then you get with an all foam manikin.

Rumor has it that they will be producing an infant manikin in the near future. Worth waiting for.
