I am a home educator with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Currently, I teach five high schoolers chemistry through Apologia's curriculum. I wanted my students to have a genuine lab experience with titrating using burettes. However, full-size lab equipment is very expensive for using only once. So, reading the description of this product, I decided to buy 3 of them for my students. I was VERY disappointed when they arrived without even one instruction, procedure, or sample experiment. I could find nothing online. I e-mailed the company and they had nothing to give me either. There was nothing on YouTube. I had to develop a procedure from scratch. It was extremely time-consuming. I purchased 12M HCl and solid NaOH from HomeScienceTools.com and got to work. The final results of our titrations were impressively accurate and repeatable, and it was nice to use only a small amount of these chemicals to accomplish a titration.
