I ordered the kit and it arrived within a couple days with my Prime membership. However, the key components - restriction enzymes - that are perishable weren't in the box. Instead, there was a note from Edvotek that I had to call them and order/ship when I needed them.

I understand the importance of shipping/receiving these components when you need to use them, but there was no warning about this procedure found on the Amazon listing. So I ordered and was off from work to receive (where I can guarantee I'll get them), but then had to order the perishables and have them shipped to work (where their arrival and delivery to me personally is much sketchier).

I hope Amazon can update this listing to specify that this kit is an incomplete stock item that only sends you the non-perishable from their warehouse and that you'll need to contact Edvotek directly to get the perishables. If I'd known, I would have contacted Edvotek in advance and had all parts of the kit arrive on time so I could use them right away.
