Ordered four for my Bass boat storage box lids. All worked perfectly. I used the screw on connectors from my old gas springs. If you don't have connectors, be sure you order them as these gas springs don't come with connectors. If ordering for the large battery compartment lid on back deck of your bass boat(if it extends across entire width of deck), you will need two 40 lb. springs. All other lids are 20 to 30 lb. depending on size.
