The Miniature side flange mounted bearing has a pressed steel flange housing, two bolt holes, a 1/4" inside diameter and nylon bearings. The unit requires two 1/4" mounting bolts (sold separately). These bearings are most commonly used in mechanical equipment where relatively light loads and normal shaft speeds are involved and the shaft and mounting surface are perpendicular to each other.

Bought these to go on the bottom of a drill press mounted drum sander and they work very well! The drum sander is from Industrial Abrasives and originally came with a piece of metal strap with a hole that the sander mounted in. Its was sloppy and heated up via direct contact with the rotating shaft. These solved that as the shaft is 1/4". Recommend both the drum sander and these!
