I used this because I live in a building that despite fumigation and regular exterminator visit has bugs. I wanted to create a barrier wherever I could find cracks and had previously seen bugs. I thought in addition to the exterminator and every 4 month fumigation that would really help. The bugs were coming up in a gap between the tile and tub in the bathroom and in between the kitchen wall and tile along the kitchen. I applied the product in the bathroom after applying the ceramic sealant first. It dried quickly and did not have a harsh smell. In the kitchen I applied it directly to the area. It does attract debris because it is rubbery but the good news is that I can mop over it and it gets clean without removing the product off the area. It is also easy to remove from your hands or to clean away for neatness where you don't want it. I also used this to seal up a window in the building hallway where alot of people where hanging out and making into a smoking area and keeping me up at night (don't tell my apt). I put the seal on at 1am and it was dry by morning and no one has been able to open that window since even after it rained for 2 weeks straight.
