I built a BBQ island with stacked stone using a steel tube frame. The unit is very heavy, weights about 2000lbs. I wanted to keep the steel off the patio cement and these 500lb/ft stainless steel units worked perfect. I used 12 of these bad boys to hold up my BBQ off the ground. Since the patio isn't level to provide water drainage, the 1/2" bolts allowed for leveling of the BBQ island, perfect for my needs. I really like Amazon because you can't buy stuff like this at a hardware store. I'll be buying more of these for a patio table I plan to build soon.
