Mason 4C974 Pad, Anti Vibration Review

The pads do an excellent job of handling vibration. I have four of them mounted under a 120 gallon vertical air compressor tank with a 7 1/2 Hp motor. Also, there is a 32" long flexible stainless steel braided hose shaped in a "U" between the air tank and the piping on the wall. The anti vibration pads in combination with the flexible hose do an outstanding job of isolating vibration from the air tank and motor from both the floor and the piping on the wall. I would absolutely recommend the pads to anyone who has a need to isolate vibration by equipment from external attachments.

NOTE: Do "not" over-tighten the bolts that go through the pads into the floor because this, over time, my cause one pad to compress slightly more then the other pads thereby resulting in the piece of machinery becoming angled or tilted which may damage the equipment. I used 5/8" bolts, 13 thread into a double wedged floor anchor and tightened them to 25 foot pounds which has worked fine.
